TL;DR

A multi-client GTM agency transformed manual mailbox setup into a fully automated, self-service operation. In six months on InboxKit, Anevo Marketing went from zero to 4,361 mailboxes under their own control and cut client setup time from one to two weeks down to one to two hours.

The Story

Infrastructure is rarely a competitive advantage for agencies. It's overhead, complexity, vendor management, delays. For Anevo Marketing, it became the opposite.

In six months on InboxKit, they went from zero to 4,361 mailboxes under their own control. More importantly: they cut client setup time from one to two weeks down to one to two hours. That means clients send faster. Anevo gets paid faster.

We spoke with Walter Winn, Head of GTM, about how they pulled it off.

Anevo Marketing runs a full-stack outbound operation — cold email, calling, LinkedIn automation, and paid ads — on top of thousands of mailboxes they now provision in-house.

Who They Are

Anevo Marketing is a multi-client lead generation and GTM services agency founded by Matt Lucero, a content creator and cold email expert with a substantial YouTube following.

Watch Matt discuss InboxKit

The team works on a high-touch, retainer-based model (minimum $5,000 per month) with a full-stack operation: cold email campaigns, calling services, LinkedIn automation, paid ads, and proprietary reporting tools. The infrastructure supporting all this (thousands of mailboxes across multiple providers, custom SMTP, Azure, Google, Outlook) is mission-critical.

Deliverability issues cascade. A single failure means lost revenue across all their clients' campaigns.

The Challenge

Before InboxKit, Anevo's mailbox procurement was entirely manual. Want to onboard a new client? Message your provider on WhatsApp or email. They respond (eventually) with a Google Sheet. Fill it in. Wait for their team to set up DNS, spin up inboxes, and handle warm-up. One to two weeks, easily.

As Walter puts it:

I would have to reach out on WhatsApp or email and say, 'Hey, we're onboarding a new client. I need inboxes spun up.' Then it'd be back and forth via WhatsApp or email, and they'd eventually send me a Google sheet, and I'd have to fill in all the information. Two weeks later, we'd have inboxes.

For an agency that doesn't get paid until clients start sending, a two-week delay is two weeks of lost revenue.

What Changed

Anevo needed a provider that let them own the entire process: self-service, automated, and fast. Enter InboxKit.

The difference, before and after:

  • Manual WhatsApp/email coordination → Self-serve dashboard + API
  • 1-2 weeks to set up mailboxes → 1-2 hours to set up and warm up
  • Dependent on provider availability → Full control and autonomy

The Outcome

The numbers speak for themselves. Anevo now scales mailbox provisioning based on client demand. When a new client comes on and wants to send 1,000 emails per day, Walter spins up 50 inboxes, configures DNS, and sets warm-up (all in-house, all in under two hours). No delays. No back-and-forth. No lost revenue.

Because they can now provision infrastructure themselves, they're scaling faster than ever. Walter estimates they're adding roughly 500 mailboxes per month on average, scaling up or down based on new client wins.

Why It Works

What I like about your infrastructure is I can just do everything myself, and I don't have to wait for somebody else to do everything. I can just go in, sync all my registrars, get the name servers updated, buy the inboxes. I like that we have control and it's very easy for us. The biggest differentiating factors come down to speed, efficiency, optimization, and you have good customer support.

— Walter Winn, Head of GTM, Anevo Marketing

Why It Matters

Anevo's success isn't about pure mailbox volume (plenty of agencies run thousands of inboxes). It's about control and speed. InboxKit's self-service dashboard and API let them treat infrastructure the way they treat everything else: automated, programmable, in-house.

Walter is building proprietary dashboards, copy generators, asset generators, and reporting tools, all stitched together with APIs. InboxKit fits into that vision. He can provision mailboxes programmatically, monitor health, scale on demand (all without waiting for support tickets or chats to complete).

The secondary win: good support when they need it. Walter specifically called out his relationship with our team:

I've been working with Shaksham for the past year or so. He's always been super helpful. We have a good relationship.

For an agency scaling from founder-led operations to a structured team, that consistency (and autonomy) matters.
